
Embroidery
Across multiple university and self- initiated projects, I have explored a variety of embroidery techniques including: hand- stitching, embroidery with applique, machine embroidery, and digital embroidery. Embroidery is one of my favourite techniques to use to elevate my textiles and add character, as it is an incredibly versatile technique, that can be as intricate or as minimal as you like. I recently learnt how to use the digital embroidery machine, something I cannot wait to explore further as it has a very different effect to hand embroidery, and has more applications in industry.
